Golf Day!

On August the 16th year 6 from Hawkesdale P-12 College went to Hamilton Parklands Golf Course for the day and played 9 holes of golf.
Everyone participated all day in the wet and cold weather. There was a BBQ lunch provided for us. It was a hard walk around the course in the rain, hail and shine.
We were competing against seven other schools.
There was great sportsmanship . It was Lachlan’s birthday and Laney lost a tooth.

year 6/7 Rainbow Activity Day

Wow – did we have some serious fun at our Rainbow Activity Day on Friday 30th July! Enormous thanks to our dynamic year 7 administrators, who took complete charge of the day and who worked so hard to make it the success it was. Thanks to the 4 Rainbow teams – Possums, Cockies, Frogs and Moths. Each team had their activity planned with precision and our only hiccup seemed to be when they forgot to bring a round ball for Bootball. I think that in hindsight, a football makes a perfect alternative to a round ball anyway, and from here on in, we will use a footy for the game. The leadership shown by all students today was amazing. Thanks also to the students who participated with such enthusiasm and gusto. The day was a huge, huge success based solely on the level of leadership and enthusiastic participation of the 6/7 students. Well done – You are amazing!
